Born on September 7th, 1938, in Marseille. From a very early age, Boulet showed a marked inclination towards drawing and painting. He began his career as an illustrator, designer and graphic artist and then went on to teach silk-screen printing at the School of Fine Art in Marseille. But this desire to devote himself solely to painting led him to Saint Paul de Vence, where he finally opened his own studio-gallery in 1982. Very soon collectors from all over the world began to acquire his work: USA, Geamany, England, Switzerland, Netherlands.
